For his 23rd birthday, Linus set out to make 23 tracks for 23 friends. Each of them blindly chose 10 samples from a library of 230 self-recorded samples. In an act of reverse giving, the finished tracks are gifted to the sample selectors themselves. Subsequently, these friends come up with the titles, which completes the shared circle. Even though he’s 25 already, the project is still ongoing and we’re very happy to be a part of it through the release of these 4 tracks.

Creatures represents falling in love in the subconscious mind, the sounds are meant to mirror the transition between the waking world and sleeping.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
