Quicksound and Alpha Yaya Diallo two incredible talents : 
Alpha’s music is a blend of the Malenke, Sousou and Foulani cultures of Western Africa.
He is a multi-talented artist recognized for his dexterous acoustic and electric guitarplaying,
with its fluid melodic lines and compelling grooves. He sings in several African
languages as well as in English & French. Discovered by Peter Gabriel in the 1980’s, his
band Fatala was signed to the Real World Records. In the 1990’s he moved to Canada
where he had an immediate impact, winning 4 Juno Awards. He also sang on the
haunting musical score to the acclaimed film “District 9”.
Quicksound is an innovative music producer and percussionist. His portfolio includes
composing and producing music with Lionel Richie, Cirque Du Soleil, Jean Paul
Gaultier, Buddha Bar etc…
The result of their collaboration is “MOSOLU”, an astounding musical journey that
blends traditional West African music with contemporary electronic music. A special
appearance by Guinean singing star Tiranke Sidime adds beautiful female vocals to
bring a nice harmonic balance to the album.
