Channelchanger is a high-energy instrumental math and noise rock duo from the Oklahoma City Metro, composed of drummer Mike Birney and guitarist Sam Stormer. A shared passion for complex rhythms and progressive music evolved into Channelchanger’s signature sound. CC draws heavily from the '90s post-hardcore/math scene, but also from '70s fusion. As a result, the band blends dynamic, non-repetitive structures inspired by bands like Shellac, Hella, and Mahavishnu Orchestra into dynamic attention-deficit rock music.
