BIG FLEX Leandro Da Silva, CFAST Ft Sam Stray Wood

Music artist, DJ performer, Singer/songwriter/Topliner. She signed her 1st contract & launched her music Career in Italy with Jovanotti & his then producer Michele Centonze during which she toured all over Italy as a dancer, singer, Dj, including TV & Radio show tours. She then embarked on producing her own Radio Shows, in English & Italian & discovered her love for Radio. Her jingles & voices can be heard on major stations to this day.
She continued to perform in Italy and Europe as a vocalist & DJ until 2006 where she had the humbling experience of touring in 2 war zones. In 2009 she embarked on a 4 year long tour with hugely successful project Desaparecidos, taking her Worldwide on radio promotional tours, festivals, fan meet & greets & events with 40,000 people crowds in  Brazil, Israel, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Reunion Island, Egypt & more.
Still performing & playing in Italy & Europe for various Business events with Brands & Companies & appearing for guest spots at top Italian clubs, in 2012 & again 2014 she also embarked on filming a 6 part series for a reality-documentary, Sailing DJ for SKY Nautical Channel with one of the very talented segment producers, Luca Silvestri for Striscia La Notizie. Sailing DJ, a TV series filmed in Ibiza, Croatia & Venice during the Venice film festival, led to sharing scenes with Al Pacino, David Guetta & stars from Music & Movies, the show was perfect in bringing some of her skills together, presenting, improvising, djing, singing & Interviewing some music legends like, Georgio Moroder, Nile Rogers & many more during the Ibiza Music Summit.
Sam then ended up on the hugely popular TV reality show on Channel 5 in Italy called Uomini e Donne (Men & Women). 4 months on the show to find love didn’t help her find love but music was always happening in the background, which then lead to making the very difficult decision of leaving Italy & going back to the UK to pursue her music & get fresh new stimulation & fire up her creativity as a firm believer that being comfortable can block your expression, drive & flow.
Based in London she did a year-long DJ residency in the North West UK & also became the Dj for FIFA eWorld cup final events at London 02 Arena during the 3 day battle to the finals, which did consequently end with the lockdowns, an eye opening & inspirational event which she hopes to pick up when London will host it again.
Since 2019 Sam has since released on Spinnin Recs, The Myth Of NYX/FHM, Hexagon, Universal France/Italy & many more. Reached Top 5 & Top 10 on numerous occasions on the Global Dance Chart, GDC Top 40 & top spots on 1001tracklist, positioned as top newcomer with various collaborations & productions thanks to teaming up with one of the World's top recognised DJ producers, Leandro Da Silva.

Her Spotify reached 2.8 Ml Streams, she has entered various Itune & various charts in Countries around the World, also thanks to the Netherlands with her collabo banger which was chosen as Smash Dance of the Week by huge National Netherlands Radio Station 538, played all day everyday it was becoming a hit while the UK was in Lockdown, The Netherlands was open for business & it was becoming an International hit, leading to talks of a Major Re-release, that was halted by the Netherlands 2nd lockdown.
Undeterred she kept writing & releasing & Leandro & Sam have had multiple track successes & big releases on Spinnin Records, including Get Lit, that in 2021 on Hexagon Records really pushed her name out there as a DJ, Vocal Producer, with fantastic recognition of her talents from Hexagon Label boss & Worldwide renowned artist & producer, Don Diablo.
While gigs were paused & the world had changed, April 2021 she landed a Radio Show for Rehegoo Music Group, Monday-Saturday chatting all about independent music talent from all over the world. This solidified her passion for Radio &  the industry & how to bridge music with businesses, it also showed how passionate she is about empowering other artists. Curious about future music tech & new opportunities for singer songwriters & producers, she is always learning & upskilling.
2022 saw the release of Beautiful Together with London based duo SUNANA & other releases that she recently performed live during her Dj set at the ADE, Amsterdam Dance Event last October.
Her latest  release in March 2023 on Spinnin Records, ‘Zombie’  saw her teaming up again  with Leandro, the track was immediately supported by Armin Van Buuren.
Sam is a big supporter of other female Electronic Dance Music producers & is currently working on some big track collaborations for some all female 2023 releases. First one with Paola Peroni of Bacon Popper fame, Like A Butterfly release date 14/07/23 on ZYX Music. Up coming production release dates to be announced.
