when i made this version of heather park by ewan i never intended for it to be anything other than a fun bit to play in sets and never put out. more than anything, i just fancied putting a fast and soulful spin on an insanely catchy original - i fell in love with that lead melody as soon as i heard it and wanted it to treat it like a funk or soul sample in a french house tune by looping the first bit over and over again. i never expected it to take on a life of its own in the way it has over the past year and a bit but i'm glad people are into it!

you can now have this for free via bandcamp + stream on soundcloud! i will not be putting this on streaming services (logistically just not possible, i hope you can appreciate this 💓) but feel free to download it and stick it on your phones for your listening pleasure. shouts to my g ewan for greenlighting this - you lot have absolutely given me hell for a year now so it's all yours now hahaha
