Legendary German techno duo Pan-Pot announce their brand-new project ‘FORTE’, a collection of ten singles. Each track presents individually, each telling their own unique story influenced by the duo’s ever-evolving sound over the years - something that has kept them perpetually current. The culmination also marks a milestone 20th anniversary for the duo, serving as a resounding reminder of why they have been at the forefront of the scene for over two decades.

’FORTE’ meaning strong, translates all the good and bad times we have had, in a way that reflects on our sound. It's a journey of reflection, reinvention, and inspiration from our travels around the world and the people we have met along the way. The tracks emulate the past, present, and future, in a range of styles, but most importantly they are all tracks which we love and enjoy playing. Simina Grigoriu kicks off 2025 with a powerhouse release, teaming up with Italian techno maestro Hollen for the ‘Remote Control’ EP - out now on her imprint, Kuukou Records. Packed with three hypnotic tracks - ‘Remote Control,’ ‘Kaoss Physics,’ and ‘Wrong Or Right’ - this EP delivers a high-octane dose of cutting-edge techno built to dominate global dancefloors.

Simina and Hollen’s collaboration is a seamless blend of pulsating rhythms, intricate textures, and deep, driving energy. From peak-time bangers to hypnotic grooves, the ‘Remote Control’ EP is a statement of intent for the year ahead. 

The title track kicks off with commanding beats, hypnotic synths, and sharp industrial hits. Digital, robotic vocals cut through the mix, adding an edgy touch as the track’s relentless drive pulls listeners deep into its magnetic orbit. Following on, ‘Kaoss Physics’ takes a deeper dive, layering glitchy textures, intricate synth complexities and rolling momentum to create a darker, moodier vibe. Closing out the EP, ‘Wrong Or Right’ drives forward with fast-paced, heady rhythms and crisp percussion at its core, while a gritty, vocal sample adds an extra layer of intensity. With its industrial edge and feral spirit, the track is primed for vast warehouse spaces, delivering pure dancefloor dynamism.

Following the success of her final 2024 offering ‘Resident Frequency’ - a tribute to Berlin’s vibrant rave culture - Simina’s latest project reinforces her reputation as one of techno’s most forward-thinking artists. Indira has enlisted the trusted services of Dubfire, Marco Faraone and Flug for the killer 6th instalment of the labels creative DUO release series, out on Thursday the 14th August.

At the pinnacle of his games for 30 years, Dubfire needs little introduction. A Grammy winner and maker of classics such as ‘Emissions’ and ‘Ribcage’, the SCI+TEC label founder, and other half of the legendary duo ‘Deep Dish’, Dubfire will make his ARTCORE debut with his long-time collaborator Flug, before joining Indira for her residency at Hï Ibiza on 5TH September joining Cera Khin and Gray Cosmo.

Dubfire and Flug partner up on ‘In Trance’ to deliver a pacy, chugging composition fraught with cosmic tension throughout. A brewing concoction of galactic undertones and driving grooves, the track embodies the heady trance spirit present in much of ARTCORE’s back catalogue whilst still retaining the darker styles of its creators.

Prolific producer Marco Faraone is credited with over 50 releases on a host of key electronic record labels such as Rekids, Drumcode as well as his own UNCAGE imprint. However, his contribution to the forthcoming DUO release will be the first outing for the Tuscan-born house and techno maestro on Indira’s ARTCORE. His opening track, ‘Killa’ stalks into existence in cold and calculated fashion. An undeniable creeper, it features a dark low-end that methodically develops amidst a sparce soundscape of marching drum patterns, churning bass chords and simmering pad effects.

Marco’s second track on the EP titled ‘Artcore Sessions’, pays homage to the label’s ethos. Employing the vocal talents of H.A.N whose sonorous vocals bob along upon swells of shadowy synth lines, choppy percussive drive and kick heavy breakdowns.

Flug first appeared on ARTCORE in 2024 with his track ‘Racing Cars’. That same year, the Argentine released Magma EP with Dubfire marking the pair’s first collaboration and precursor to their debut DUO release. In August, he also made his debut for Indira’s residency at Hï Ibiza playing alongside Ben Klock, Clara Cuvé, and Nuke.

The second collab track with Dubfire, which also closes out this talent heavy EP comes in the form of ‘Weightless’. They both fuse tensely wound rhythms, off-kilter chords and serene pad effects to concoct a breezy, gravity defying composition that showcases both producer’s ability to craft nuanced electronic music to rival that of the more pummelling.

Hyden is a potent force in the French underground, creating powerful techno with dense percussion, immersive grooves and subtle nods to classic influences — all through his own unique lens. Having delivered standout releases in recent years, here he offers up sounds “anchored in psychoanalysis, time, and emotional residue” as he makes his mark on SHDW’s Mutual Rytm imprint, delivering influences of dream logic and surrealism as the palette moves between brutality and introspection. “It’s hypnotic music for moments of rupture where something breaks or breaks through”.

Opener ‘Manifest Content’ is inspired by Freudian theory and explores the surface illusions of thought and dream. It's about the dissonance between what we perceive and the deeper meaning that slips away beneath and is a deep and dubby techno track with flashes of unsettling melody. ‘Bruises’ is emotional trauma made sonic. This piece delves into invisible scars and traumas, residues of past conflict or intimacy - it's slow-burning, heavy and raw. ‘Jikan’ is a meditation built on time and its erosion. Inspired by the Japanese concept of impermanence, it reflects fleeting moments, decay and the tension between stillness and motion with jacked up but warm drums and turbulent bass.

Next, ‘Free Will’ is born from inner conflict and plays with deterministic rhythms and evolving layers, questioning whether we are truly in control or just passengers in a prewritten sequence. The vocal mentions, “creatures, you’re out of time” to bring darkness to the intense but sleek rhythms. The streamlined physicality of ‘Swarm’ channels the primal force of collective movement and is a nod to the loss of individuality in group behaviour.

In addition, the package is loaded with digital bonus cuts. ‘Yumehara’ is a dive into surreal dream-states and evokes subconscious landscapes where logic dissolves and emotion reigns, while ‘Lü Bu’ is brutal and warlike and named after the legendary Chinese general that captures impulsive violence, betrayal and reckless glory with relentless energy and rhythm. Lastly, ‘Neon Pale’ is a synthetic dreamscape about fading beauty under artificial light - a melancholy ode to cities at night and the loss of warmth in modern life.

Elevate is a label run by Techno mainstays Pig&Dan who are an international DJ and production duo, who along with releases on Elevate are a regular feature on labels including Drumcode, Cocoon, Bedrock and Terminal M.

Finishing off 2016 with a look to the future, the label owners have compiled a special 21 track release titled ‘Next Generation’.

Handpicked by Pig&Dan themselves the new Elevate release is very much a family gathering, where Elevate favourites like Mark Reeve, Aitor Ronda, Rob Hes and Carlo Ruetz get to meet and interact with artists like Etai Tarazi, Fideles and Sezer Uysal who are making their debut appearance on the label.

Each of the artists who feature on the release come with a proven musical pedigree with artists like Mark Reeve having recently released on Drumcode, and Sezer Uysal is heavily associated with Suara.

Carlo Ruetz has done a solo release on Richie Hawtin’s iconic label Minus, and Etai Tarazi has put out a number of EP’s on Sian's Octopus Records.

The list of prestigious things achieved by each of the artists on Elevate's forthcoming Next Generation release is endless, and most importantly the music is nothing less than spectacular!

Dancefloor focused with tough grooves and captivating tones, each track is programmed to perfection, and this sampler showcases six of the tracks from the release.
