"With this collection of deeply personal tracks, I wanted to reconnect to my
inner emotions and to my love of melody, showing my most
introspective and passionate side.
Locking myself away in my studio, surrounded by vintage analog
machines and acoustic instruments, my desire was to create a late night journey of contemplative
experiences in music.
Drifting away from the harder, dancefloor oriented sound, this
concept album reveals a thoughtful observation on the state of our
world today and on these times of turmoil and uncertainty, ending with
a positive message of hope and peacefulness".

Revisiting some of the year's biggest tracks in techno, Nicole Moudaber's MOOD Records presents 'Best of MOOD 2018,' mixed by label favorite Carlo Ruetz. Available for digital download December 21 and featuring artwork from mixed media fine artist, Peter Max-Jakobsen, the release comes as only the second compilation from the MOOD Records imprint after surpassing a milestone 50 releases in 2017. Delivering the stomping four track 'Stormer' EP this past June -- which saw plays from the likes of Adam Beyer and Anja Schneider -- Nicole Moudaber taps fast rising star Carlo Ruetz for the label compilation. Highlighting MOOD Records original tracks from Fur Coat, POPOF, Stephan Hinz, and remixes for Moby, Nicole Moudaber and Carl Cox, the 12-track compilation represents the label's leading take on dance music.

We welcomed him to the MOOD family with his 'Stormer' EP in June and he also joined me at MoodZONE at BPM Portugal earlier this year. Opening with Wigbert's "Moonlight," the nine minute acid saga builds until the rattling percussive beat of Stephan Hinz's "Conspiracies" takes the lead. Teaming up for their MOOD Records debut, Italian techno maestros ANNA V & M.I.T.A., transport listeners to another dimension with the warping sounds of "Through The Wormhole" followed by the minimal, yet transforming motif from SUDO's "Abstract." As the first of his two tracks on the compilation, Carlo Ruetz's "Surrender" sets the perfect stage for the Truncate peak-hour remix of Nicole Moudaber and Carl Cox's classic number, "See You Next Tuesday." Turning to a remix from the MOOD Records label boss herself, Nicole Moudaber crafts a spellbinding, ambient techno atmosphere with her innovative take on Moby's "Like A Motherless Child" before the compilation goes into overdrive with Venezuelan duo Fur Coat's "Spiral" and "Alone In The Dark" from POPOF. The intensity continues with Stephan Hinz's "Fearless" with its synth hook throughout fading into Sly Faux's mesmerizing "This Made You." Rounding out the mix with another of his tracks, Carlo Ruetz stays true to MOOD Records' sound with a dark attitude on "Silence."

Also taking off on the international festival circuit, her MoodZONE stage takeovers have landed to the forefront of dance music with slots at EDC: Orlando and The BPM Festival: Portugal. After launching her weekly radio show In The Mood in 2014, Nicole has commanded an army of 20 million listeners weekly in 80 countries and connects with countless global fans via her award-winning Mixcloud show. The show's success has also resulted in the invitation to be one of just a handful of artists to be involved in the launch of Mixcloud Select, where she'll be donating 100%% of the first years proceeds to her ELEVEN campaign, which aims to end the brutal practice of female genital mutilation (FGM) worldwide.

Not many artists are lucky enough to release a track that defies genre classification and reaches into mainstream culture, with people enthusiastically embracing its melody and adopting it as if it were a football anthem.
His track “Rave” has become an instant classic, a timeless piece of music gaining more than 100 million streams (becoming the most clicked Techno track ever).
Since 1996, a landmark year for him thanks to the worldwide success of his track “Zoe” produced as Paganini Traxx, Sam Paganini’s stylistic experimentations have gone from strength to strength, leading him to collaborate and release his music on several record labels like Plus8, Cocoon Recordings and Drumcode, reaching the highest spots on Beatport’s Techno Chart several times. His unique musical journey has achieved great success both on the underground circuit as well as on the mainstream channels.
In 2016 Sam founded his own record label JAM as a new platform to play out his vision of techno music. At first an outlet for his own productions releasing 3 albums and nowadays also a platform to discover new talented Artists.
Beside his studio work and production time, Sam’s DJ appearances are among the most requested by promoters worldwide: his sets are characterized by powerful grooves and have been described as “Sexy Groovy Dark Techno”, which speaks volumes, literally, on what to expect from his performances.
