Sam’s EP boot’s off with ‘Chocolate’, a track that builds and builds using detuned synths, stabs and funky drums to make any dance floor erupt. ‘Domino’ is a track that’s bassline drones underneath its own distinctive synth line to keep the drums rolling along steadily. The title track ‘Black Leather’ is everything you would expect in a Drumcode record; a subtle throbbing bass line which, keeps the track moving before the synth stabs enrapture the track and twist it into a dark, throbbing composition. The final track ‘Daegon’ uses dubbed out drums to incorporate a synth melody line that will blow your socks off and rounds off this well shaped EP.

When Pig&Dan decided to join forces, they began a truly prolific production schedule establishing their reputation as producers of pulsating electronic music that straddled dark house and high-energy techno, whilst creating their signature style of twisted and experimental breakdowns. Since those early days, they have created a repertoire that not many can match and have constantly been releasing their music on the most respected labels and playing at the best events worldwide.

Pig&Dan follow up to their outstanding first EP on Drumcode with ‘Chemistry’. Compromising of three tracks the mood fluctuates with each record to create a well-balanced, dynamic EP. Chemistry is a dreamy listening platform that mixes cyclic synth lines and stabs to crescendo into a late night imagination. The other two tracks are on the harder tip with their thunderous kick drums and disorientated sounds that provide a different edge to the EP with a harder, peak time sound.

My name is Sergio Neves Ferreira Do Nascimento Lourenço, I´m 29 years old and I live in Germany. I was born in Lisbon and speak 4 languages: português, german, english and spanish. I´m a Techno DJ from Germany. I love to Travel and make music. When I was 15 years old, I visited the Radio Nation Festival in Mannheim that was the first time I listen to Techno/EDM. That was the Moment I was thinking about to do this music. A few years later at a session from some friends it was the first time that I made my own music with the equipment from Paul Hauk and I liked it. After that insperation techno was my passion. Some friends of me from Frechdachstechno gave me the opportunity to hang up at FDT Lablenight 2016 at Colosseum Landau. After my first gig I played at private events, occasionally in clubs( MS Connexion in Mannheim, Gotec Club in Karlsruhe, Die Box in Ludwigshafen and SynthiCat in Karlsruhe) and at festivals( Technolution OpenAir in Ludwigshafen and Frechdachstechno Camp at NatureOne in Kastellaun)and in the Fefe-Club Jettingen.

Dort habe ich das erste mal darüber nachgedacht, diese Musik selbst zu machen. Ein Paar Jahre später bei der  Session von ein paar Freunden habe ich das erste mal meine eigene Musik mit dem Equipment von Paul Hauk gemacht und es hat mir gefallen. Nach der Session wurde Techno zu meiner Leidenschaft gemacht. Ein paar Freunde von mir von Frechdachstechno gaben mir die Möglichkeit bei der FDT Lablenight 2016 im Colosseum Landau aufzulegen. Nach meinem ersten Gig habe ich auf Privaten Veranstalltungen, in Clubs( MS Conexion in Mannheim, Gotec Club in Karlsruhe, Die Box in Ludwigshafen und SynthiCat in Karlsruhe) und auf Festivals(Technolution Open Air in Ludwigshafen und Frechdachstechno Camp auf der NatureOne in Kastellaun) aufgelegt und im Fefe-Club in Jettingen.

Not many artists are lucky enough to release a track that defies genre classification and reaches into mainstream culture, with people enthusiastically embracing its melody and adopting it as if it were a football anthem.
His track “Rave” has become an instant classic, a timeless piece of music gaining more than 100 million streams (becoming the most clicked Techno track ever).
Since 1996, a landmark year for him thanks to the worldwide success of his track “Zoe” produced as Paganini Traxx, Sam Paganini’s stylistic experimentations have gone from strength to strength, leading him to collaborate and release his music on several record labels like Plus8, Cocoon Recordings and Drumcode, reaching the highest spots on Beatport’s Techno Chart several times. His unique musical journey has achieved great success both on the underground circuit as well as on the mainstream channels.
In 2016 Sam founded his own record label JAM as a new platform to play out his vision of techno music. At first an outlet for his own productions releasing 3 albums and nowadays also a platform to discover new talented Artists.
Beside his studio work and production time, Sam’s DJ appearances are among the most requested by promoters worldwide: his sets are characterized by powerful grooves and have been described as “Sexy Groovy Dark Techno”, which speaks volumes, literally, on what to expect from his performances.
He has taken the stage at legendary clubs such as Berghain (Berlin), Output and Cielo (New York), Rex (Paris), Fabric (London), Crobar (Buenos Aires), Exchange (Los Angeles), Fuse (Bruxelles), Stereo (Montreal), Pacha (Barcelona), Fabrik (Madrid), Amnesia (Ibiza), Privilege (Ibiza) and Cocoricò (Riccione) just to name a few, and at Festivals like Awakenings (Netherlands), Nature One (Germany), Mayday (Germany), Tomorrowland (Belgium), Sziget (Hungary), Sonus (Pag Island), Time Warp (Germany), Ultra (USA).
