Here is the re-record of my set from Jamie Taylor / Tik Tok's 40th birthday memorial bash in November held at Rogue in  Cheltenham. 

I had 45 minutes on the night as there were a lot of DJs on the lineup playing to pay tribute to Jamie - such is the lasting impression his tunes and heart have left on the people he worked and played with. Big thank you to mumma TikTok- Kim for asking me to play on the night. It was an honour ❤️ 


With the re-record I added an extra tune at the start and a few at the end to make it a real journey, a full-on JayTay acid-fest - but with a K8-e twist! <3

Always wanting to help people get their music out there and teach people Jamie had a heart of gold and was so passionate about music and supporting others.


I wanted to pick tunes I didn't think other people would play on the night or may not have even heard, some of my favourites from back when we were in closer contact, tunes that switched me on to his sound and that showed his diversity and talent as an engineer outside of where he carved his niche in acid techno, some unreleased tunes and the first tunes he engineered for me - which was the first time I'd ever worked with an engineer.  And also a few new tunes which I felt fitted with the overall Jamie vibe! 

I hope people enjoy this as much as I have loved pulling it all together, even though it is obviously bittersweet. RIP Jamie, this is for you <3

Selection of hard trance, NRG and hard house mostly from late nineties and early noughties alongside a few productions of my own from Primitive Records. It was great fun playing on the epic rig supplied by Shakedown Audio Solutions.
