Após anos como residente na noite da Freak Chic no D-EDGE com o projeto Voyage ao lado de seu comparsa Gustavo Miranda, Johnny personificou a sua visão como músico, fundando com Exequiel, o coletivo EKONCEPT, formado pela gravadora EKORD, os workshops ministrados na EKOHOUZ e a festa EKO que vem estabelecendo uma comunicação maior com o público, mostrando o comprometimento e respeito com a música, lhe adquirindo uma experiência notória como DJ, característica que o levou a se apresentar em diversas festas no âmbito nacional e internacional, como: Kater Blau (Berlim), Sisyphos (Berlim), Flex Club (Viena), Elefant (Oslo), Waagenbau (Hamburgo), Climax (Stuttgart), Palais (Munique), Cafe del Mar (Tarifa), Micro Club (Lisboa).

Como produtor, tem lançamentos e singles assinados por ele e também seu outro projeto 'Treta Vadio' através de selos como: URSL, Limitation Music, Deep Site e DeepClass. A experiência adquirida com os instrumentos orgânicos ofereceu um plus ao perfil artístico de Johnny, que carrega consigo uma constante preocupação em imprimir algo que soe original e autêntico.
