Liquid Drops head honcho MSDOS returns to the Smooth N Groove with yet another impressive release. Hailing from Greece the prolific producer has stamped his own mark on the scene over the years with previous releases on labels such as Goodlooking, Skeleton, Liquid V, Fokuz, Sheer Velocity, Phuzion and Soul Deep to name a few. Over the years his productions have been supported by some of the scenes heavy hitters. Ryck from Berne is one of the core-founders of the Bern Bass Podcast and started DJing in 1997 after being bitten by the Drum&Bass bug at the local United Tribes Raves. He was struck by the sounds and energy of Goldie’s „Timeless“, the relentless bassline rollers of the ever-prolific Full Cycle crew and DJs like Randall, Micky Finn and LTJ Bukem. An avid Junglist and nerdy record collector until this day, he got his first gig at the Lighters-series in 2002 after years of sweating blood & tears practising on the Technics 1210s. Known today for his varied, unpredictable selection with a heavy nod to the oldschool, over the years he played at most major Swiss D&B events such as Bierhübeli and Darkside at Dachstock in Berne or Bassride at Rohstofflager and Mute in Zürich. As a producer, he released collaborative tracks on Soul Deep, Inform and Sun and Bass Recordings. After being in involved in RaBass 95.6, a monthly Drum&Bass show on Berne alternative radio RaBe for over ten years, he was asked to co-promote and continue the Liquid Session series at Dachstock in Berne in 2015, hosting a broad variety of international acts in the deeper realm of D&B as well as showcasing young and older local talent. Helena fell in love with dnb after she went to her first rave at 18 and has been pretty much been obsessed ever since! As it can be for so many women it took her a while to gain the confidence she needed to get behind the decks but we are so pleased she did! Dynamix - the name personifies the intent behind the music. He’s not held down by trends, going his own way with his sound, he’s not restrained by sub-genre. Drawing from all of his musical influences, other genres spice his tracks giving them their unique flavour.

Dynamix made waves with his debut release on DJ Trace’s legendary DSCI4 imprint making the Top 10 in the genre against established well-known artists with his First Contact EP in 2020. Drum & Bass Arena premiered his track “Cold Heat” labeling him a “beat-smith” which immediately caught the attention of many headz with a fresh take on Techstep; a brutal stepper designed for the sound system.
In 2021 he delivered on the infamous Spy Technologies 8: Pandemic LP (DSCI4). Pulling no punches with a techy roller appropriately named “Murderation” that many were itching to get their hands on after hearing the dub on his guest mix for In:Reach UK.
Expect Dynamix to flip the script with another EP in the works for Heists Co-Lab Recordings imprint where he shows us the funky side of his productions.

Dynamix is representing NZ D&B in the most understated way. With a long-standing foot in the NZ D&B scene, he’s well equipped to bring his take on the genre and give the raver a ride true to the craft.
