I miss you so much. I’m so sorry for not being there when you needed me. I’m learning to control my life. And I would love to share my life with you again. 

This song represents the two inner voices in me. Constantly fighting. Neither voice is assertive enough to stand up for themselves. They both end up being complete submissives. Grey in every life decision. Dependent purely on the influence of the world around them.

I’ve moved on from this mentality. It’s time to take control and shape my life into what I want it to become. 

I don’t want to say I can’t do it without you. But it feels that way sometimes. 

I need to move forward in my life without you. But I want you to be here again. I won’t just wait around. I will get better soon.

I wrote this in about an hour. 

I was high off adrenaline and thrill.

I picked up a middle aged stranger. And I asked him where he wanted to go. And I tried to take him there. I did his laundry. I gave him a bed for the night. He reared his teeth, but didn’t use it. Humanity is naturally kind. 

I was engaging in extremely risky behavior.

I will still engage in extremely risky behavior. 

But they will much better calculated next time.

Uncalculated risk is a more extreme high than any drug I’ve ever tried. It breaks brains and folds reality. 

But I have loved ones. If I continue down the path I formed when I wrote this song, I’ll continue to hurt my loved ones.

I need to protect them. They are important.
