this dance invokes power. real power. your power.

to find it, this real power of yours, 
dare to be present.
dare to open to the wisdom of the body.
(not the mind. not the thoughts of what we think power is. not what we were told power should be.)

take time through the dance to discover, to meet, to savor power. yours.

there's no where to rush to. 
your power ... it's already here. 

notice when tension arises and instead of hanging on to tension, or trying to push it away. be with it.

when we contract or hold onto tension or concepts of big or loud or ... old ideas about power ... we tire out, we deflate. paradoxically, we defuse our own power.

so let the power be here, stay with it. whatever arises. breathe with it. dance into it. rest in power.

soft or hard. big or small. tense or loose. 

may this dance honor your power. may your power fuel your heart. may the depth of your power envelope you with aliveness.

(1) Flow – energy ‘inwards’: What is my relationship to myself?
(2) Staccato – energy ‘outwards’: How do I show up when I relate to another?
(3) Chaos – energy ‘in and out’: Where is my place in a group?
(4) Lyrical – energy ‘all around’: How do I relate to the world around me?
(5) Stillness – energy ‘in, out, all around’: What is my relationship to the Mystery of life?
