ALU Podcast 006 by SAMOH

For number 6 of the ALU podcast series we have invited SAMOH. It's safe to say that he is a true ALU resident, as he has played at at least half of all our sessions. Therefore we are happy to now also have him included in this podcast series.

Rotterdam based dj and producer SAMOH dedicades a huge amount of his time to developing his own sounds and music. He practicly lives in his studio, where he works a lot on his music productions and live sets. Creating groovy and dark drum patterns and tweaking his acid-machines. His passion for synthesizers, quick dynamics, fast grooves and dark sounds all comes forth in his dj and live-sets.

ALU PODCAST 006 // SAMOH

A recording of our 2.5Hrs long hybrid live improvisation journey, SAMOH and I did at Club MEZZ for Technotheek. 

Date: 07th of May 2022

The set-up we use is very interesting, the live part by SAMOH includes: TR8-S, Akai FORCE, Moog DFAM, Akai Midi MIX, Behringer Crave, some effects and a modular rack. 
My part includes two turntables and a XONE92/96. 
Our whole setup is connected via the mixer and like that we can improvise whole scenes as we want to.
