Bournemouth-based label Eclectics is celebrating its second birthday with a first - a full-length compilation LP featuring old friends and new faces.   

Keeping in step with their vision to date, the label has brought,curated a killer line-up to deliver music aimed at the head as well as the feet. The result is a collection that will make shoes shuffle and the mind boggle. 

After 24 months and 11 diverse and wonderful releases, this is the first time the label has offered a snapshot of the Eclectics vision outside of their renowned club nights and festival sets. 

From laid back grooves to sun-dappled synths, this collection approaches the dance floor with a slow, unhurried determination that takes in Balearic, disco, house and exotic rhythms from label favourites Dany Dorado, Faint Waves and James Bright, alongside debuts from Ondata (Stash Magnectic's Szymek Lawik and Martin Lefteri), Andres y Xaxi, Rollmottle and Tel Aviv's Guy Maayan. 

Love Vol. 1 is no retrospective - there's no need to look back when the future sounds this good. This is a manifesto from a label hitting its stride and let's face it, the world could do with a bit more Love right now.
