Samba Carioca Lounge [Podcast]

An experimentation on recreating the natural groove that characterizes "Samba", a well known Brazilian rhythm, acting over synthetic entities that resembles classic Samba's percussion instruments like "Zurdo", "Snare", "Repique", and "Agogo" among others. What really was a nice challenge besides to achieve a characteristic groove and alternative analogue sounds, was to construct by pure synthesis a series of instruments capable to produce rich articulations, something so natural (continue...)

Escola de Samba Osnabrück is a samba batucada group from Germany. Counting around 20 drummers, we play Brazilian samba rhythms. All of the songs are live and non-sequenced.
