What an honour! Thank you.

The Teacher Ham YouTube channel was set up in earnest in March, 2013 as a way to share my resources with students in Hong Kong and around the world. As of March, 2024, it had collected over 3.65 million views, 14,500 subscribers & 344 videos. It is truly humbling and inspiring when I think that through sharing my simple resources, I am able to help students in all corners of the world improve their skills and interest in learning English and for that I feel privileged and honoured. MUSIC:
Teacher Ham (Sam Barbour Music) is also an award-winning songwriter. His music has been played on radio stations in 27 countries (6 continents) including the BBC & Amazing Radio. He has performed his music live on both TV & Radio in Hong Kong (RTHK & The Works) and in the UK and has conducted radio interviews with stations around the world. He has both won and been nominated for numerous songwriting awards with different associations including the ISC (International Songwriting Competition), ISSA, The Josie Awards and the UK Songwriting Competition respectively to name a few. My podcast - A Light in the Dark: My Songwriting Journey has now amassed over 500 downloads and is now in its second season.

Teacher Ham also acts as an education consultant and is always happy to offer free advice via email to fellow educators, schools and students anywhere in the world about teaching and/or learning English. I have learned so much from my fellow educators and students and am only too happy to pass this information on. When learning English, one must try to be brave enough to speak, make mistakes and keep learning.
