Dizzee Rascal x De La Soul - Keeping the faith up look sharp

This was the first Jamiroquai song I ever heard, way back in the early 90s on 'The Chart Show'...and it still blows my mind today!
I'm so happy to have had the chance to hear the awesome separate parts and to remix them.
I took one of my favourite segments (the chorus riff) and extended it throughout pretty much the whole track. My idea was to see if the verses would fit over the top of the chorus melody.
When I tried it and it worked, it was a real "Eureka" moment!

I wanted to retain the sentiment and vibes of the original, but give them a more current feel, one that could be played in the club or in the privacy of your own headspace.

I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I did producing it!
