„Nie genug“ heißt es also, das neueste Baby von Julian & der Fux. Und: Das Lied schreit nach Singlestatus.

Das Wiener Produzentenduo hüllt sich in Schweigen. Sie sagen nicht, wer wovon nie genug bekommt. Gar nicht schweigsam hingegen ist Julians Gesang: die dreckig glitzernden Worte gewohntermaßen in seine gut gepflegte Weinkellerstimme geschmiegt.

Beim ersten Mal hören klingt es nach Disco. Leicht, vergnügt, fast schon klebrig wie der Dancefloor kurz vor Sperrstunde. Angenehm flauschig. Beim zweiten Hören kommt dann der Funk mit einer fesselnden Bassline und einem flirrenden Gitarrenlauf durch. Und beim dritten Durchlauf fühlt sich wohl jeder ertappt von den Lyrics. Dieser Nimmersatt, der – egal, wie oft und egal, wie gut – nicht genug bekommt. Bin ich das? Bin ich so? „Nun aber schnell, es tropft hinunter“ –  da geht’s nicht um Käsefondue, oder? Die Textzeile „Hip-hip-hurra und Rambazamba. Bloß nicht zu nah, bei Berührung entflammbar“ setzt sich wie ein Graffiti auf das Unterbewusstsein. Und bleibt dort.

All das macht aus „Nie genug“ den Ohrschmetterling unter den Ohrwürmern, eine echte Frühlingssingle. Das Lied macht allein weiter, tanzt und summt in uns, will immer und immer, nur noch einmal – was eigentlich? Egal. Es ist: Nie genug.
