I was here at the beginning of Soundcloud. Everyone was sharing and discovering. You know, it was listening to other underground artists that got me into producing. I began uploading my early stuff and people were liking it, I gained some followers and it scared me a bit because I’d only learnt how to make beats through listening to others. I didn’t think I was good. People were asking me to enter into music competitions, but I’d decline. People wanted me to do it live but I’ve got no idea how to use a do turn table rig. Then Soundcloud changed a few years later, making algorithms stopping your material getting out. I thought I was getting shitter then I saw their statement about the algorithm. So I deleted all my material of the cloud. I’ll continue to produce but I’m not going to upload anything anymore. If Soundcloud wanted money from the start, people should have paid for an account in the first place with a one off fee. I wasn’t chasing payment for my material and neither was Soundcloud originally. It was about sharing and listening to others. I’m going back underground you all just lit it up like a Christmas tree worried about numbers and clicks. Ridiculous. Cyas later.
