Finally found some time to put together some new music that I have been feeling lately. A little chill house mix to get you stoked for BASSCOAST & SHAMBHALA music festivals. I’m fortunate enough to have a set at each and I hope you will be vibing out with me in the trees.

I decided not to post a tracklisting for this mix, not as a deterrent for trainspotting, but more so that people take a break and listen to the mix in its entirety, not just scan the tracklisting. LET'S GO DANCING : 02 MIX

This is a re-creation of my set from What the Festival 2015 ( www.whatthefestival.com ) just outside of Portland, Oregon. My set was early afternoon at the Splash Stage, so I keep the vibe mellow and fun: some feel-good house tunes while you are dancing in the pool.

If you haven’t been to WTFest, I highly suggest it, the weekend was amazing, and the Splash Stage is literally a stage with shallow pool for 600 people to dance in and a Function One sound system. Without a doubt the craziest/best stage I’ve had the pleasure to play on. :)

SUMMER CHILL - WHAT THE FESTIVAL 2015

Hey Innernets.

This is a re-creation of my LivingRoom set Thursday night at the Shambhala. This years festival was super duper friendzone, big smiles, amazing sets from ALL the homies, great weather, refreshing river, prime camp spot with the Nelson fam and I didn't really want to go home afterwards. My set time this year was also amazing, Thursday night at Shambhala only has 2 stages with programming, the Amphitheatre & LivingRoom. As most people attending the festival get there early ( Tuesday night?? ) there are LOTS of people ready to dance the night away. 12:30-1:30am was the MAGIC Hour. The moon was even rising over the mountains behind the dance floor.. I tried to keep my set bouncy and fun but with a health balance of dark and deeper cuts.

Big big thanks to Hoola, Lion-S, S2, Soup, Dubconscious, Christine Hunter and the rest of the Shambhala fam for producing a great event, and having me play. It was definitely one of my favorite sets to date <3

Shambhala 2015 / Living Room Mix

This is a reprise of my BassCoast 2016 set. I played on Saturday night at 9pm-10pm on SlayBay before the likes of Max Ulis and Aden (MachineDrum). My set occured as the sun was setting behind the Merrit hills and I tailored it to fall in line with the diminishing sun light and the onset of an amazing evening of music, art and dancing. The first half of the set is a chiller house vibe and near the mid point I jack things up with some heavier tunes.  

If you have never been to Basscoast, I strongly advise you get yourself a ticket and enjoy a real WestCoast Canadian music & arts festival. You will not be dissapointed.

Some songs to make you dance in the summer. This is a recreation of my live set from this years festival. My set at @bass-c0ast this year was an early evening jam on Saturday (5-6pm), at the new Cantina Stage (SuperRad). I tried to keep it fun, engaging and bouncy. Some tunes you know, others you don't, centered on the dancefloor for the #friendzone. BassCoast was exceptionally magical this year and I can't do it justice with words, you just have to come and experience it in person. You will not be disappointed.

It's been awhile since I've had the time and energy to put together a collection of music that encapsulate the mood & feeling of my surroundings & movements. I find making mixes to be a very therapeutic and almost cathartic action and one that I gain lots of happiness and release from. I named this mix TRANSITION as it marks the changing of many elements of my life, my family, the world, the seasons and the energies around.
