Nico Schinco is a name to put in the back of your head, because he is here to stay! His contribution to PHW this time is a super melodic production baptized to "Reverie". Be ready for superb melodic work, razor-sharp percussion and an overall atmospheric feel with great textures, we fell for this one right at the first listen. As we try and make things proper on PHW, we have loaded this release with a bunch of remixes, all great contenders for the progressive market, and the best of all, they have all gone their own way when setting up their interpretations for it. First of is a welcome return from one of our great friends of the label, Saratov and Russian bound producer, known from releases together with Round Triangle, NRG Dance Records, Cold Breath to mention some,Vasiliy Goodkov that now returns home to PHW again. He brings on a more distinct, more uptempo and more club oriented remix that will give this track a great opportunity to reach the clubs aswell, the breakdown is just gorgeous. The 2nd remix comes from Australian settled producer, Alex H, that is known for his beautiful work on PHW before, and this is another one to watch, since he's got some truly amazing skills behind the mixer table. Here he brings on a beautiful layered production, including amazing textures, super melodic work and great additional bass sounds to fulfil another masterpiece out of his studio, it is so good and something we truly love. The 3rd remix comes from another returning artist and one that got his past remix on PHW supported by Above & Beyond on Group Therapy. It is with with great pleasure that we let you know that the talented ArcHouse is back on PHW and their family. He brings on another melody monster, he is using the melodies so well and top it up and gives it that rolling feel, we couldn't be happier that we are and we feel we have another superb package ready for you, go get it!

We officially introduce you to our newest family member, Sam Gellaitry. Setting the stage for his first EP, 'Short Stories' (2/17/15), Sam shares single, "Temple", foreshadowing what's to come on his long-awaited 5-track EP.

With initial sounds of the phone ringing off the hook and a dreamy synth progression on "Temple", Sam ropes you in and then immediately hits the listener with an automatic headbanger all whilst maintaining a dreamy and steadily uptempo vibe.

This young man of 18 years is from Stirling, [central] Scotland - where the "culture" part of the wiki section reads one line. Culture in the form of music however, is plentiful and diverse in Sam's case – drawing on influences from Madlib and Jamiroquai to Flying Lotus, Röyksopp, Hudson Mohawke, Mr. Carmack and Outkast. By the time Sam was 16, he'd learned to engineer and master audio which might shed some light on his unique song structure and diverse journey through many genres apparent in the course of one single track. 

Sam marries his love and knowledge of bass guitar, synthesizer and piano with honed production skills to create seamless heavy hitting electronic music that retains raw instrumental elements and evokes a certain happiness and soulful connectedness. With a father who has a background in making bagpipes among other talents and Mum - a former in a band member playing guitar and singing it's really no surprise that Sam's magical ears give him the ability to translate 5+ genres seamlessly into one beautiful song or 'Short Story'.

'Short Stories' defies traditional notions of what it is to create 'electronic music' traveling through uptempo house, UK-garage, heavy bass, hip hop and soul - in 5 succinct stories.
