SO.  This was THE tape back in 1994.  Especially in the Baltimore/DC rave scene.  Previously, it's only been available as a 128kbps rip of a badly worn tape.  As I explain below, this is a 320kbps rip of an original, near mint tape.  THIS IS MY FAVORITE MIXTAPE OF ALL TIME!  

Frankie had recently ended a short exile from the rave scene and was freshly back on the DJ scene, when he came down on January 14, 1994 to grace Scott Henry's new-ish friday-nite BUZZ club night.  Later, a tape was given out to the first 100 people at the door.  This tape was notorious for "going missing" from peoples' cars lol!  My copy is the third or fourth that I've had, and was purchased in DC at Musicnow in the early 2000's.  Apparently, Scott & Lieven had made a few hundred of copies, gave out 100 at BUZZ, then forgot about them.  My buddy asked the counter person if they had any and, lo & behold, they produced a sealed copy from the back.

I woke up, VERY hungover, one Sunday morning in 2004, to a phone call from my buddy Mike Structure.  

He started yelling immediately, much to the dismay of my hurting brain, "Remember I told you Frankie Bones was going to be coming to my crib to get his computer fixed? Ya still wanna record an interview with him?"

Me: "Ummmmm, Mike you told me that over a month ago & never mentioned it again.  I figured it wasn't happening! OMFG, I am SO hungover." 

Mike: "Well, he's coming & I want you to interview him. He'll be here this afternoon; can you leave now?"

So, I went.  Beforehand, I managed to write down some questions I wanted to ask.  Frankie was VERY patient, and I was trying not to be TOO starstruck, although you can tell I was pretty in awe of him.
