DJ Icey aka Eddie Pappa is an American DJ/Producer who has been known for founding the early Florida Breaks scene. Born in Florida his original DJ name was DJ Icee but he had to change that name becuase of a threat from a local ice cream company sueing him over the use of the name, so his name DJ Icey was born. With a huge back catalogue of music spanning back to 1993 and leading him up to today DJ Icey has had several albums chart on the Billboard charts as well as various singles. He also started his own record label Zone Records back in 1993.

Basically this guy is a legend !

The third edition of the Ghetto Funky Booty Bass mix tapes! I decided it would be fun to create something that would showcase the sounds of the old school Sam Groove with the refined selection, experienced technical skills, and meticulous programming of the modern day me. I'm taking you guys back to the sounds of the early to late 2000's with a very special DJ set featuring music exclusively mixed on vinyl. Some of these records I played out frequently back in the day and some of these I never played at all, but every piece of wax is dope nonetheless. The reason I made this mix was simply for fun, and it helped remind me why I started doing all of this in the first place.
