During the Civil War, the Union and the Confederates were fighting in Franklin, TN during the battle of Stones River on a very cold December night. The night before the battle began, one army band began to play and sing. The other side heard this, from across the hills and decided to play and sing louder. Eventually both sides joined together to sing the song "Home Sweet Home" as one, until the middle of the night. For one single moment, both sides were in communion with each other. After the song was over, there was a silence among the men, and weeping after they played. For most of those soldiers, that would be the last song they ever sang, heard, or played as the battle continued and both sides fought the next morning. This story inspired our song "From Appalachia to Dixie Land".

	Samhill Road is an award-winning Worship/pop/rock/acoustic group of 2 musicians from Northern NJ. Eugene Steficek and Andrew Gallagher have been performing music together for the past 8 consecutive years in various groups and bands. Samhill Road blends powerful worship music, hilarious and fun stage antics, vocally soaring and energetic original songs and popular cover songs acoustically, with a powerful message of how important it is for us to love one another through the love that God has blessed us with. Samhill Road has built strong lasting relationships with wonderful people in the Christian Music Industry such as artists like Third Day, Scotty Wilbanks, Jason Hoard, Mac Powell and Revive. 

	 Samhill Road has been on national radio, television, in newspapers and all over the vast internet. Most recently, they were seen opening up for Mac Powell from Grammy Award-Winning Christian band Third Day on his Country Tour in September of 2012. They've won awards such as: won a contest and were selected to perform at Walt Disney's Night of Joy in Orlando, Florida at Walt Disney World, 2nd place at the Sussex County Talent Show, 1st place (twice in two different years) at the Vernon Talent Show, placed in top 50 out of 500 bands in the Gospel Music Channel Independent Artist Competition, 2nd place in a battle of the bands on live radio, 5th place in a battle of the bands in Pennsylvania, and continue to "wow" audiences with powerful, energetic vocals and harmonies, deep lyrics, and strong pop/rock acoustic music.

	They plan to spread the Love that God has Blessed us with to all of the world, all while performing energetic and deeply impacting songs. They believe in helping those in need, and those we ignore. Samhill Road believes in being there for the poor, the hungry, the meek, the broken-hearted, the homeless, and the least among us.
