Hailing from Italy, Leonardo Patrizi, also known as Dott. Santafeo, is a multifaceted artist encompassing the roles of DJ, producer, live performer, and sound designer. Renowned for his deep and dubby interpretation of techno, Dott. Santafeo transcends traditional genre boundaries, fearlessly experimenting with various forms of electronic music. Emerging onto the scene in 2020 with an EP on Organica Sound, Dott. Santafeo quickly garnered recognition for his atmospheric soundscapes, ethereal beats, and evolving sonic narratives.

With subsequent projects on labels like Apnea Label, ChessBoard Music, Sense Label, and Zero Signal Records, Dott. Santafeo solidified his status as a rising star in the electronic music scene. As a highly respected DJ, he has graced the stages of Italy's most prominent nightlife venues for over a decade, captivating audiences with his vinyl selections and expertly curated sets that transcend boundaries and elevate the dance floor experience.

Earlier this week, Toronto-based artist Sean Roman celebrated his most recent EP release for Bunny Tiger Dubs. The Canadian DJ has taken serious strides in the last few years with releases on Cr2 Underground, Toolroom, Strictly Rhythm and a handful of house music’s elite imprints. On “Saltspring,” Sean fuses the two worlds of ‘80s-inspired new wave sounds and modern deep house aesthetics to create a dynamic cut for the floor.

It's that time of the year again: it's Sónar Festival in Barca with electronic music scene's finest pearls.

On this occasion we made a tiny selection with magnificent artists. Big event, big names!


Martin Waslewski kicks the first bassdrum getting a straight answer from Nils Hoffmann. Wow. Good thing Lars Moston is part of the team, too and caresses our ears with groovy deephouse sounds. LA's cool kids AEONIX take us out to a little dance on mars while Julian Wassermann & Oliver Deuerling are flying around with angels of peace. Everything is possible and still not over! AEONIX and Nils Hoffmann are closing the package with excellent remixes. Enjoy Sónar 2016, friends!
