Samir Youssef (1935-2007) was a great man and father who loved the Coptic Church and cherished its hymns and praises.  He had recorded thousands of Coptic liturgies and sermons many for which his recordings are the only source.  In particular he loved and recorded the unparalleled and angelic voice of the late beloved Reverend Father Gabriel Abelsayed who was the first established Coptic priest in America in 1969 that shepherded the flock of St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church for over two decades. He also cherished the voices of Fr. Pishoy Demetry of St. Mary's Church in East Brunswick and Fr. Dawood Bebawy of St. George's Church in Jersey City.  We humbly present to the Coptic people Samir Youssef's wonderful and blessed audio treasures.  We pray that his love of Coptic music and hymnology may be seeded and flourish in others as it was in his children and those who knew him.
