Experience has taught us that new releases from Seattle-based imprint @hush-hush-records are always ones to look out for. Their newest record is the work of NYC/LA producer @eavesss, and we're thrilled to premiere an accompanying remix by RBMA grad and fellow Hush Hush affiliate @kidsmpl.

Kid Smpl's "Flourescent" remix sets out on a serene, levitating note, before a hailstorm of shattered drums descends to claustrophobic effect. The track is the combined effort of two producers who have already honed a well-defined sound palette and seem to be well at ease using it.

So the dude Handbook came down from the Yorkish Planet Funk, met up with the ManOfTheDowntrodden, and they ate asian style noodles together. This is the what it sounds like when they are slurping asian noodles, talk about real musicians. Don't even need a computer or instrument, give them a bowl, some broth and some noodles... dont forget the chopsticks. MAGIC.
