Sincerely Collins returns from a 2 year musical hiatus, or what he likes to call being “back in the basement” to deliver “YAP YAP”, his most promising and timely single to date. The record wastes no time introducing youthful choir vocals over trap drums, followed by precise intertwining of both rap and sing vocals. The potentially weighty topics are spoon fed through playful banter and grounded in adolescence. These highly contrasted elements give “YAP YAP” a divine balance that is rare to come by. The Tony Choc and Qüx produced record is perfectly concluded with a tribal breakdown serving as the sound bed for a churchy outro full of gospel vocals from over a dozen of Collins friends, family and frequent collaborators.

Sam Lachow steps up to the plate yet again with his latest euugh face-inducing single “Broken Bat.” With incredibly infectious and creative production from frequent collaborator Jake Crocker, this one brings the slap and the thump and the crack. Seriously. It oozes a slick, artsy bravado and a smirky wit. It’s a refreshing take on Lachow’s flow, you can audibly tell he’s having fun. MistaDC and Vrillah on the hook. What's the end goal to all this and what's our objective? If it's just money then why do we repeatedly get caught in these self created distractions and vices? Better keep your head screwed on straight or you might get straight screwed.

Fifteen Pennies

Sam Lachow is a producer, songwriter, rapper, videographer, director, and editor of video and music. Raised in both Seattle and New York City he's been making videos since elementary school, and as a seventh-grader began a group called Shankbone. Sam began directing and producing music videos with Shankbone, and went on to create videos for various other artists.

In 2011 Sam released his debut project as a solo artist, "Brand New Bike". Produced entirely by Sam, the album utilized many live instruments from musicians based in Seattle and New York. The next year Sam released 2 EP's, and produced/directed dozens of music videos from the projects on his YouTube channel, which now has over 7 million views.

After successfully raising 20K on Kickstarter in 2014, Sam’s second full length album Huckleberry independently debuted #6 on iTunes Hip Hop. He then unexpectedly released a free project titled 80 Bars, which surpassed a million plays on Soundcloud for multiple songs. Riding that momentum Sam became the first local headliner to sell out Seattle’s 1,000 cap Neptune Theater, co-headlined a 29 city national tour, and rocked the main stage at Washington's biggest music festival Sasquatch. Sam’s EP Friends, Funk & Liquor debuted at #2 on iTunes Hip Hop top albums.
