About Sammattick The Rebel:

Born and raised in the state of Washington, Sammattick The Rebel always knew he wanted to make a mark on the entertainment industry. Hoping to one day build an influential empire, he is an upcoming, multitalented hip hop and rap sensation. At a young age he experimented with different sounds and instruments like the drums and bass guitar, as he loved the combination of percussion and song. Sammattick knew if we wanted to reach his goal of ultimate success, he had to move to California. Making his way to Victorville, where he currently resides, the young rapper recorded singles to SoundCloud and started to attract a lot of positive attention. He released "Rebelution" in December of 2014 and is motivated to take over the hip hop and rap world by storm.

In the third grade in the rainy Pacific Northwest state of Washington, Sammattick recorded his first song, on a rock band mic, and already having experience from singing choir. Told right off the bat from his father that it was “not bad for his age and equipment used,” from then on he kept rapping, rhyming, and putting together his stage craft. Always throwing a fist before speaking and getting seriously interested in rap by the time the 8th grade came around, he went to live with his sister on base in Abilene, Texas by his late high school years, where he festered the ability to rhyme and perform in any situation. After growing up in Tacoma, he was going to be headed out to California soon, where he now resides and is happily involved in rehearsal and performance.

Influenced greatly by the films, “Get Rich or Die Tryin” and “Purple Rain,” Sammattick is perpetually amazed by the landscape of Minneapolis and Prince’s massive global influence in music. A top venue on his list to play would be Madison Square Garden, or Staples Center, but any venue is fair game for Sammattick to take the stage. Taking interest in all of the other instruments in the spectrum, his favorite to play is bass, as he feels is it the “heart of any song,” and the true core of the sound created. He also loves to play drums, where he feels the pulse of percussion and song.

With Spotify and the other streaming services available, Sammattick feels very excited about what the future holds for the way the web has changed the landscape. Also feeling that we are at a “Tipping point of biblical proportions,” and that we will “not be run by man” in the future, he has a lot to say about police brutality and the times we live in now. Feeling that what folks really need to do is care for each other, Sammattick believes we can get through the trying times presented in front of us by being introspective, and intellectual. A bit disappointed with the offerings of current talent, and feeling that what many are doing is stale, he is getting ready to really put a jump on his future, put 110% into his performances, and create top notch material. Look for this California heavy hitting artist to fully kill a stage near you soon; and do so with rebellious intent.
