Sammy isn’t shy about being the new kid in San Francisco’s diverse queer nightlife scene. The singer-turned-DJ traded a mic for a mixer in 2022, bringing his lifelong passion for music and performance to the dancefloor. A recent addition to San Francisco, he’s quickly built a reputation as an upstart with a distinctive, high-energy sound.

The sound? Many degrees of house with a bias for uptempo music with soul. His sets weave together eclectic and nuanced styles ranging from funky Chicago-style house to high-NRG electro to modern and minimal tech, with a signature nod to his first love: disco.

His energetic presence on the decks is felt in punchy, rolling basslines that remind you to keep it going. Sammy’s ultimate goal is to create a sound that is at times familiar, and other times noticeably underground. And to quite literally keep you on your toes. The result is soaring, feel-good dancefloor energy.
