Sammy Smooth is a force to reckoned with. Hailing from the Gold Coast, fresh faced DJ/Producer Sammy Smooth has been turning heads since before he was even old enough to step onto a dancefloor. Sammy was playing out to crowds since the age of fifteen but his breakthrough came when he won Radio Metro’s 2022 Makin Music Competition becoming the youngest winner at just sixteen years of age. This led to his debut release “Last Night” with the infamous Vicious Recording Group alongside a remix by the legendary Needs No Sleep. Since then, in 2023 Sammy worked with QUT’s Vermillion High Program to produce and release his high energy dance track “Love of Yesterday”, this wasn’t the only release for Sammy in 2023. Following it up was “Tied Up”, Sammy’s debut EP with Sorta Kinda Music which seriously got to work as the self-titled single hit #55 on the Aria Club Charts during December. Sammy seamlessly blends New School and Old School vibes, crafting electrifying live electronic dance music sets with his production philosophy embracing diverse electronic music genres
