This is the first my first song release since realizing that I'm a trans person and coming out as trans. The song is called "Starting Again," but it's oddly not even especially about the transness. I wrote the first parts of it probably like 8 years ago, and it was just about being upset at myself for feeling like I repeatedly made the same mistakes. I revisited it recently and tempered the original self loathing with some self love, a line about shaving, and some loving voice memos, and here it is.
