I wrote this song back in 2014 under the name D-Myze, but I no longer have the stem files for it, and the only version of this song that exists on my old Soundcloud account is mixed horrendously, so I decided to reverse-engineer the song again and make it sound even better.

There was a moment after my daughter, Sofia, was born, while her and her mother were away for check-ups in another ward, and I was left in the birth room, alone for a while with the ambiance of the beeping hospital machinery playing disharmonic arpeggios, splatters of blood on the floor from the birth, sun shining through the window. In total submission to the world, in total awe at the beauty of life in its prime.
