Track synths and non-drum instruments all produced with the one n' only #KAWAIIDREAMSFROMMARS library. Drum sounds could've also easily been achieved with another #SAMPLESFROMMARS library, unfortunately, at the time of production ((1983) just kidding) this was logistically impossible.

Made specifically for the Samples from Mars competition.

A dungeon synth and drum and bass/jungle track...

Made entirely in Sunvox using only the samples provided in the SFM kawaii dreams pack run through internal sunvox effects (clip distortion, echo, reverb, and eq). Drums are made from the SFM mpc3000 snacks sample pack, a few Korg congas, and custom made breakbeats programmed in the style of 90s jungle. 

It's something a little different.

We wanted to bring the Minipops into the future, so we pumped it through a variation of truly unhinged pitching, delays, and modulation effects on our H3000 and printed it to tape, re-pitching the results for deeper kicks, slo-mo beats and frantic grooves.

Transmission

We sampled an Oberheim synth a few years ago, and Nico made a beautiful demo for it, using the samples. In fact, I loved it so much that I wanted to create an original piece of music for it - so I ran bits and pieces of the demo out into an Echoplex, and an Otari reel to reel, and then sent the returns of those tracks back into the tape machines, creating feedback loops. I then took those feedback loops and put them back through the tape machines!
