JHL & monoga.my - NYMPHO Radio on George FM

A couple weekends ago, I had the honor of playing the annual Big Moon camp out rave, about 30 minutes outside of Leavenworth, WA. This is a live recording of my set, which took place from 2-4am as I was peaking on a tab of acid.

Historically, this rave occurs outdoors, underneath the titular Big Moon, at the end of each Summer. I saw this particularly romantic and wistful setting as a unique opportunity to lean into some of my softer and more vulnerable impulses as a DJ.

And then a demonic rainstorm began to wreak havoc on the camp grounds and the rave was moved inside at the last minute. Despite the change of scenery, I remained committed to my initial plan. What’s left is a cathartic document of an emotionally turbulent summer, all flaws and imperfections left intact.

It’s the realest and most honest set I’ve ever played and I think it’s the best thing I’ve ever created as a DJ.

DJ based in Barcelona, focused on bass sounds and danceable rhythms. Her sets focus on creating narratives where a wide range of electronic genres can coexist, deconstructing the sound as much as possible but always with the goal of creating danceable and "sweaty" sets. His ultimate goal? To curate and mix tracks that invite the crowd to occupy the front rows for their own enjoyment and that of others.
