efja is a multiform electronics imprint operated by lunar convoy. This new endeavor will mainly focus on the experimental & abstract side of things, with a healthy dose of psychotropism.
Man of many trades, lunar convoy has been on the forefront of Brussels club scene since 2015, with regular appearances at C12 and Fuse and his event series Metropolis (co-founder). He’s also co-running a successful deep techno label called NORITE. However with efja, he has set to steer away from any conservative club structures and instead embrace the odd and uncertain.

One hour of songs from the legendary Vietnamese-American singer, Khánh Ly.

In 1962, at the age of 17, Khanh Ly began her professional music career, performing at clubs in the Southern Vietnamese Highlands. On a rainy night in 1964, she met Trịnh Công Sơn, at that time a young composer, and they became fast friends. Fascinated by her seductive voice, Trinh had asked her on several occasions to accompany him in his performances in Saigon, but still in love with the romantic hills of Da Lat, she declined.

In 1967 by chance (but according to many, serendipity) they met again, and soon Khanh Ly and Trinh Cong Son gained phenomenal fame across the entire country. During the escalation of an unwanted and bloody war, his anti-war lyrics and her alluring voice appealed to those who grew weary of the battles and bloodshed; their plea for peace propelled them to the top. A riff on Jon Hassell's _Fourth World_ series. Where Hassell focused on creating ritual music of potential societies that _didn't_ exist; Ian Kim Judd seeks to evoke the notion of potential utopian societies that _could_ exist. In these times of global instability and uncertainty, Fifth World seeks to posit an alternative, with scenes from an optimistic future.

Testing out a 1992 KORG Wavestation SR new to the studio following some minor repairs.  Although sporting its tiny screen in 1U packaging, the SR was the smallest in the Wavestation series, but it was by no means a cut down version in terms of its synthesis power.  Although a fair few of its multitude of its factory patches may now sound very dated, it is still a very capable synth capable of remarkably complex and fluid timbres and textures even by 2023 standards.   The problem is harnessing this power and the fact that programming such a beast has a rather steep learning curve to say the least!  That said, there are still some real belters to be found among all those stock patches and a lot more out there on the net to load up and explore...

Rosario Piscosquito aka Vidění has already released his work with well established labels such as Circular Limited, Oslated and Subosc Records.
Releasing ‘Ocean Resonance’ with us is a real pleasure as we feel the mood and theme of his work reflect our belief and intention with ambient matter perfectly.
The album represents a very fitting continuation of what we have started with our inaugural release ‘Biotope’ by Aiôn Lazura late last year.
