Since I heard Hang Massive work for the first time, I got obsessed with the need to hear Hang Drum sound. Now I enjoy playing it too, software of course. In particular Soniccouture as Native Instruments or Ableton Live device. 

Made this track last year, riding my bike along the picturesque hills surrounding Silicon Valley. The grass, burned to Gold for the most time of the year, looks (and smells) great. Giving California its Golden State name.

Many years ago, at one point I accidentally noticed the chorus of some of my songs were inter-changeable. From then onwards, I made serious efforts for my songs to sound not so alike. I know I am not a decent singer but as a songwriter, I would be very glad if listeners can differentiate between my songs.

This new entry here is another love song mainly inspired by a drama. The purple rose is the closest song pic I could find as I think the petals do look like lips. Just see what you think.

 There is a great tenderness to the song that i tried to keep and to underline and highlight certain  areas by dropping the musical backdrop and pushing the vocals up to clearly hear the expression in Dougs vocal. Everyone knows that the British love their dogs, this little dog was no exception. Bloomer was born in Athens and lived there with my daughter for many happy years. She was quite a little character, so it was a great shame when we lost her a few years ago.

When I wrote this song, I could hear the two syllables of her name resonating in my head, so this became a song to remember her by, I hope you enjoy it.
