Something "Slow" for a change. Enjoy the remix for the first song from the latest Leonard Cohen album "Popular Problems", 2014. Canadian musician, poet and writer is 80 now (yes, the "Hallelujah" dude, the original author and singer). The new album is awesome! If you get lucky to see Cohen in your town, go to his concert. His golden voice is brilliant! My tribute to the Maestro.

Interesting facts on how Leonard Cohen and his producer Patrick Leonard collaborated on this song! which they co-wrote. Leonard sent a lyric via e-mail; Patrick sat down at the piano, and took half an hour to write the song. He recorded it in Logic and sent to Leonard a demo, on which he replied "Great!. Patrick played Fender Rhoders and even mixed sampled horns into the song! Same as how it happens here on the SoundCloud, right? :)

I love the song and liked the story so much, so decided to allow myself to butt-in into their collab. In my take I wanted to keep/make minimalistic and sorta dark-wave-ambient sound. I made shorter notes on my synths basslines, used a straight beat. The mix is done on Korg Gadget and also has a few strums I humbly recorded with my Fender Stratocaster.
