And just when I thought I’d come close to wrapping my head around the track, it then just unfolded through audio alchemy and sprouted wings with a humongous stereo separation, and becoming larger then life !! These vocal effects are wonderful. Mostly playful, with a slightly bizarre undercurrent. Wild ride, Sam. :D

Since I heard Hang Massive work for the first time, I got obsessed with the need to hear Hang Drum sound. Now I enjoy playing it too, software of course. In particular Soniccouture as Native Instruments or Ableton Live device. 

Made this track last year, riding my bike along the picturesque hills surrounding Silicon Valley. The grass, burned to Gold for the most time of the year, looks (and smells) great. Giving California its Golden State name.

Why do I have ProckJet acct? To share improvs and daily fun with music, just like this ☮   

I had a blast twisting knobs at my Moog Subsequent 37 CV (on Prockjet cover)for an hour or so, having bassline and lead on top. Other day mixed it with new Wavetable and other synths in Ableton Live 10. Explored Replika reverb by Native Instruments. Just 3 basslines, 3 pluck, and 3 lead synth. Kick from BassISM2. Simple :) 

Hope you find it fun ... or fall a sleep and have a great chill, which will be "mission-accomplished" for Prockjet. Exploring sound and inducing vibe is mesmerizing process. Bob Moog said this in the documentary you can find on YT. I extracted a quote on that:

Crazy experimental, you've been warned!  :)

What can be done if you have just one note to play around with? I imagine drones revving over your head (friendly drones).  Caveat, for synthesizers enthusiasts, The whole thing drones on note B, while I was tweaking this huge, luxurious Moog filter and other on my Subsequent 37 CV. I was just having fun exploring the analog vibe, my usual meditation routine, and pressed the record button.  Hope you find it Moogalicious :)

If you feel so, grab any of bits from the longer 12 minute Moog stem on the link. Original, unprocessed and raw, 118Bpm. Slice and dice it to samples, re-tune or else to add some analog drift and twangs to your production.

I rarely use vocal or any  samples, here felt like it. This is homage to the Art Of Noise band - one of the grandfathers of Electronic music. From Chillout to experimental and IDM. You should remember numerous TV commercial with magic and captive music - that was it The Art Of Noise.

The kick here is all analog, synthesized with Moog Subsequent 37 CV. Physical Moog is only on the kick, the most of the synths here are Ableton 10 Wavetable. I was experimenting and discovering its tones and now use all the time. Hefty sound, one synth I can understand what I am actually tweaking on. Not blindly scrolling thru the pages of presets looking for "cool" one.  Making own sound is the key. ☮
