The second single to be released from the debut EP “The circus” to be released in November 2024. A nod to festival season ahead with huge soaring choruses, being a huge power pop song to add the his growing catalogue of releases. Written in 2022 it details the languish of failing to get over someone and kidding yourself in the process. Featuring Harri Larkin on Backing vocals to add another dimension to power delivery on offer. 

Having caused a stir in the industry with his releases R.E.T.R.O and Breathe, The new single Somebody Else is released on April 18th 2024.

Somebody Else

Sam Scherdel is back with his third single from his eagerly anticipated debut EP, set to release later this year. His latest track is a summer anthem that blends sun-tinged electro melody, dance floor rhythms, and an irresistibly catchy chorus, showcasing the diversity of his musical repertoire.

Written in the summer of 2022, "Too Shy" is the second offering from the EP produced by Sheffield-based producer Federico Telesca releasing via BLAGGERS RECORDS. The song has already become a live favorite, having debuted at various summer festivals. This new release brings a fresh wave of excitement and adds another dimension to Sam's songwriting skills.

Reflecting on the track, Sam says, “I’ve never wanted to pigeonhole the music I create into one genre. Releasing something a little different while retaining the soul of music is a pursuit I felt was essential for my first collection of songs.”

On the back of an intense live schedule which has included 3 sets at Glastonbury 2024, The release is supported a string of live dates & festival appearances, starting with a sold out Doncaster Leopard show on the 25th July as a warm up for his first ever Tramlines appearance.
