Mourning Dove is a highly emotional track centered around the unmistakable call of a mourning dove, commonly heard in backyards across North America. The mourning dove’s soft and graceful call is often seen as a symbol of sorrow, while also delivering a message of hope and love for those suffering.

The goal of this Producer Dojo Cypher Challenge curated by @mrdjshadowstar was to channel hypnotic natural foley/atmospheric beds for each track (the background glue) and driving rhythms, forward-thinking sounds, and innovative beats and melodies that bring about the symbiotic (balanced) relationship between the organic and inorganic.
