I put the word struggles in quotations because it seems that to be a musician you are expected to be constantly having a good time, constantly on a high and constantly creating. The pressure we put on ourselves as unsigned artists can be so
very detrimental.
We place our value on digital stats and mould ourselves into the trends of today, sometimes leaving our identity behind. The song is a question to someone on the outside looking in as if to say:
"If I told you I was struggling because of these reasons......Would you believe me?"
