"Count On Me" speaks on the essence of love and the importance of interdependence within a community of people. The message in this song is to encourage listeners to believe that giving love and inspiration is perhaps the greatest thing we can do for one another - the idea that you get what you give, and love comes full circle.

Sam Trump is a multi‐instrumentalist and singer/songwriter whose soulful take on a modern sound creates an experience that is best described as hypnotic. A man of many talents, he not only sings but plays the trumpet and ukulele. He is currently touring full‐time with live HipHop/Jazz/Soul band, Sidewalk Chalk. Sam’s most recent collaboration was on Jamla Artist, Add‐2’s latest album, Prey for the Poor. He co‐wrote 3 songs, one of which featured Grammy Award Winner, Rapsody.

Through his original music, Trump wants to remain innovative, but also convey a preservation of down‐home soul. In his own words, "My aim is to establish myself as a pioneer of new direction within the music scene. Through my writing, consulting, and performing, my ultimate goal is to inspire others to do whatever it is they love most, with the ambition of positively effecting our society. It is my hope that with every path crossed, inspiration transpires."

Calvin Valentine is a LA based singer, songwriter, and producer born and raised in Eugene, Oregon. Valentine first stepped out into the LA music scene in 2011 with the release of Planet Asia’s album “Camouflage Jackets”, which was entirely produced by Calvin known at the time as G_Force. Last year he produced De La Soul’s “God It” featuring Nas, which was recognized by every mainstream blog including Rolling Stone, Pitch Fork, Fader, Complex The New York Times, among others. Valentine is currently working on a full length album J Dilla’s young brother, Illa J. Be on the lookout for more work as Valentine just signed a deal with Eryst Records to release his next solo album in 2016. "Spain is a song that takes attraction from "like" to "get to know each other better". It's a pure love song, which I feel is something missing in Soul/R&B music lately. For our generation it seems like every song is straight about sex. As a woman, we love being complimented and hearing sweet nothings in our ear. I feel like this song represents the comfort that takes the woman from thinking the guy is attractive to, "I think I like him".

Sam Thousand (formally known as Sam Trump) is a multi-instrumentalist, singer/writer, producer/composer and a 3Arts Recipient with 15+ years of experience in live performance art, curation, and self management. Since picking up the trumpet at age 7, his artistry has allowed him the opportunity to perform in all corners of North America as well as overseas.

Sam Thousand has become a fixture in Chicago’s music scene through various stages from the Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park to a cozy nook in a low-lit speakeasy in Fulton Market. 
He has maintained years of performance residencies, and has curated special events from tributes to artist showcases. In addition to performing and curating, he has served as a booking manager to facilitate performance opportunities for other musicians. Sam Thousand is co-founder of multiple Chicago-based organizations, and is a business owner and entrepreneur. Everywhere he goes, he brings a sophistication that engages & uplifts.
