Overthinking turns to panic

In no rush to say I have it 
 There’s no lightning without static so

I would never say I’m jumping the gun 
Remain patient as I wait until my luck has begun 
Until then I’ll just keep pacing while I’m sippin on rum 
And I’ll keep spittin what is written killin time just for fun

As for now I’m just a diamond in the rough 
It gets tough to keep on going when I think I’ve had enough 
Given up on life but every time I go and call my bluff

I continue waking up inside a home that isn’t mine

still hurt while I couch surf at least I have a couch to find

that every dog could have is day and as they say I’m best in show 
I could be the next to blow but as for now I’ll take it slow
