Mexican producer JUNKIE KID is back and better than ever with his signature blend of techno, trance hardstyle and big room flavours on this brand new seismic track ‘The Chant’.

From the outset JUNKIE KID has your attention, as he introduces that choir arrangement, or ‘The Chant’, which is then present throughout. The talented producer builds to a climax at which point he bursts out in to life with an industrial sounding synthline and thumping kick drum, which add a level of energy to the serene choir sample. Over a decade on from his first official EP release in 2013 with ‘Check This EP’ on Audiophile Live Records, MR JUNKIE is still impressing in a major way with this epic release on Smash The House!

Born in Mexico, but after moving to Spain at an early age, MR JUNKIE began to fall in love with the dance genre, as he was inspired by European DJ’s of that era like Mauro Picotto, DJ Quicksilver and DJ Sammy. At the young age of 16 he started to produce his own music, mostly influenced by techno, hardstyle and dutch house sounds, a concoction he eventually coined “Neo-Hard House”. After his first EP release in 2013, JUNKIE KID has gone from strength to strength in the industry, gaining support and recognition from the likes of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Tiesto, Hardwell, David Guetta, Afrojack, Nicky Romero and many more.
