“Matter Of Fact” is a new take on 90’s Jungle. For this piece Samyul blended classic sounds with modern production techniques. Using intricate drum programming & bouncing 808’s this track is a testament to the endurance of Jungle music.

After a short hiatus at the beginning of 2024, Out Of Sorts couldn’t be more excited to return to the digital series with four  club-ready tracks of rugged, grinding grooves courtesy of Newcastle-based Lace Atone.

‘Zonal Decline’, a dark and layered track which combines razor sharp percussion, a rumbling bassline and a familiar vocal chop to create a dense, atmospheric club track. When asked about the opening track Lace Atone told us, “The droned out, percussive synth draws a subtle influence from the Robert Hood, Jeff Mills era of 90s techno, think those dark, ever-repeating chords.”
