This is a variation in production of my original synthpop song. I wanted to push this version more towards the EDM direction, and I'm quite happy with how this turned out haha.

MPAG 2024 Fall/Winter Mix

Song was mastered by @YOQI from the MPAG discord.
Song has been actively worked on since the 14th of December, and have finally deemed it finished. Song is a synthwave/retro take on the 1980s crack epidemic (also relates to my struggles with addiction, which recently became an issue again for a brief period of time)
Track uses about 22 different instruments, massive amounts of audio effects, layers upon layers of automation, and I actively sought the feedback of people during the making of this. Probably my best track yet. Very very happy with the end result.

The Predicament

Gonna do a vocoder and a vocalist version
using my voice as a way to lay out vocals. What I need is a vocalist.
Working with a vocalist to replace my godawful voice lol
Placeholder vocal version complete (I just transferred and tweaked the vocal tracks over the new instrumental)

note to self: use midsection to lay out some words with heavy delay and MASSIVE dreamy sounding reverb (make it sound like a vivid fever dream)

Heavy work in progress but I think it sounds great so far, personally.
