Although Winter Music Conference may be over, Axtone Records returns to Florida by welcoming Miami‐based producer Robbie Rivera and his collaboration with Shawnee Taylor, titled ‘Falling Deeper’.

Well known for his tribal influenced house music, Robbie has been actively DJing andproducing for over 10 years, producing tracks such as ‘Funk‐A‐Tron’ and ‘Bang’. Additionally, Robbie finds time to run his own label, Juicy Music, which has featured the likes of Todd Terry, Harry Romero, MAKJ, and Crystal Waters.
Born from musical parents, Shawnee’s voice is well recognised throughout dance music, with numerous collaborations alongside famed DJ and house legend, Erick Morillo. Having releases on Subliminal, Defected, Ultra, and now Axtone, Shawnee shows no sign of slowing down, ensuring her soulful voice is heard throughout the dance music world.

Listeners will notice that ‘Falling Deeper’ represents a current shift in dance music back to when clubs, not festivals, reigned supreme. With low thumping basslines and organic stabs, Axtone is more than happy to support this shift with established artists such as Robbie and Shawnee.

The summer is here with “Maracuja”, it is Kiholm his debut on Marcus Schössow his label Code Red. The groovy track has been kept secret for months and until the weekend before the release almost no one knew who produced the Mediterranean flavored house track. Even the DJ’s tied to Code Red had no clue who was responsible for “Maracuja”. What they did know, was that they loved the track!

The sun starts to shine instantly with Kiholm his groovy production, which kicks off with a big and pretty aggressive bass line. The track keeps building towards the break, but brings a surprising piano and guitar melody there. Instead of the heavy banger you might expect “Maracuja” changes into a smooth and groovy house tune for the summer. The Mediterranean flavored tune will make people groove and shake their hips for sure.

Kiholm debuts graciously with his tune “Maracuja” on Code Red. It is not the first time the Danish DJ/producer and Marcus Schössow find each other. Kiholm has a long history in the trance scene and released on Schössow his previous label Tone Diary. Times are changing though and Kiholm is exploring the new territories within dance music.
 
“Maracuja” has been one of Code Red it secret ID tracks for months and we are proud to be able to share it with you. Especially because it also embarks the start of the next phase in Kiholm his career. The Danish DJ/producer has broken his creative boundaries to come up with something fresh and groovy. Something we encourage and respect a lot. And given the fact “Maracuja” is such a sweet tune; we just had to release it.

The 5-track EP shines a spotlight on emerging DJ talent, including Mark Villa ,Tocadisco, Pnut & Jelly, Tom Tyger & TØAK - all of which display their respective talents on the German duo’s stellar release.
 
First to step up for remix duties core Mixmash family member Mark Villa who uses striking piano chords and a blend of percussion to polish his rework. Alongside this is Berlin beat-maker Tocadisco who takes the club facing original and reworks the track with a fusion of bass heavy licks and electronic elements. Not forgetting DJ duo Pnut & Jelly who have produced a drum heavy rework of Inpetto’s original with warped vocals and infectious synth melodies.
 
Following suit are the reverbed vocals and catchy hi-hats taken from French DJ Tom Tyger’s edit. Rounding off the EP is the remix from TØAK – a new producer on the scene – who fuses faint piano chords, catchy vocal hooks and a thumping bassline to craft their masterpiece, signing off a solid 5-track masterpiece.
