Andrew Weatherall's passing is a terrible loss for music. He has always been a beacon of how to do things with integrity, humility, humour, style and curiosity. Never sell out, always be gracious, grow a beard when nobody else has one then shave it off when they have and do what you want, when you want. A life lived to which we should all aspire.
He played our tunes now and again, which was always a thrill and we were fortunate to have had a remix from him. Deep, original and leftfield, but what else would you expect?
